New Appointment at Metro Hotel Ipswich International

07/07/2010Metro Hotels has appointed Fran Edney to the role of Reservations and Guest Services Manager at Metro Hotel Ipswich International.
In this newly created role, Ms Edney is responsible for managing reservations and ensuring guests enjoy a superior experience throughout the duration of their stay.
The position reports to Metro Hotel Ipswich International General Manager, Alex van Kersen, who welcomed Ms Edney’s appointment.
“Fran brings to this role a comprehensive knowledge of local and regional community, and she has maintained a strong background in building and maintaining relationships with members of the community, local businesses and international operators,” Mr van Kersen said.
Prior to taking up this position, Ms Ebney was Marketing/Sales and Special Events Co-Ordinator at Cherrabah Resort; Marketing Co-Ordinator at Bestbrook Mountain Resort; and Booking Agent for Queensland Farm & Country Tourism.
