Celebrate Christmas in July at Metro Hotel Ipswich International

Metro Hotel Ipswich International is hosting two exceptional Christmas in July festive events this year, providing an opportunity for guests to enjoy a traditional hot Christmas dinner and joyous festivities in the true European fashion.
While Australians are used to a warmer Christmas marked by sizzling hot days, warm nights, cold seafood platters and sunburn, our northern hemisphere friends are treated to a Christmas marked by snowfalls, freezing days, warm fires and delicious hot meals.

To help bring a little of the northern hemisphere down south this winter, Metro Hotel Ipswich International is hosting two very special Christmas in July events.  On the evening of either Saturday July 9 or Saturday July 23, guests can enjoy a full Christmas dinner including soup, sliced breast of roasted turkey and baked ham served with a medley of roasted vegetables finished in a cranberry jus. Follow this with either the traditional European plum pudding with warm brandy anglaise and vanilla icecream, or the more local Christmas favourite – pavlova with fresh Queensland fruit and raspberry coulis.

Naturally, all tables will be decorated to reflect the Christmas spirit complete with bon bons, Christmas carol music and festive decorations. Freshly brewed tea and coffee, served with chocolates, will complete the Christmas feast.

This Yuletide feast is available in a number of different packages. Guests can enjoy just the meal, paying $45 for two courses or $54 for three courses, or for those wanting to truly enjoy the spirit of Christmas, they can stay the night in a twin share room and enjoy a complimentary breakfast in the morning.

The accommodation package is just $122 per person for the two course meal, accommodation and breakfast or $132 for the three course meal, accommodation and breakfast.
