The new wedding coordinator Erin Burke said the Hotel was introducing new packages to help each bride and groom create their own special day.
“It is all about personalising the experience for the happy couple,” Ms Burke said. “We can work with them to tailor a special package that suits them, from the menu to decorations to beverages.
“More choices means more flexibility. What we really want to do is simplify the process for wedding parties so the focus is on enjoying their most important day.”
Ms Burke said seven function rooms were available to choose from. She said the Metro was a “one-stop-venue” for weddings, with the ceremony, reception, accommodation and even breakfast taken care of. “I love seeing the planning stages come to life,” she said.
“It’s a very joyous time.”
Guest relations manager Fran Edney said the Metro was also equipped to take care of Hen’s and Buck’s nights. “For the ladies, we have an accommodation and photo Boudoir package, and for the men it’s fun with Skirmish,” Mrs Edney said.
“We really support the local businesses and always source our products and services from lpswich.” Head chef Michael Irving said the Summer menu would be launched on the first Sunday in December. “The focus for the new menu is all about fresh,” Mr Irving said. Fresh seafood with a
tropical therne, fresh stone fruits – the mango will feature a couple of times on the menu. “All the products are sourced locally such as Diamantina beef from south-west Queensland.”
Bridal parties are encouraged to make an appointment to meet with Ms Burke or Mrs Edney so they can devote their time to you.
