If you’re looking for something really cool to do with your kids this Christmas school holidays then look no further than the Sydney Aquarium and Sydney Wildlife World.
Combining two of children’s favourite things, LEGO blocks and animals, Sydney’s popular tourist attraction will be invaded by Australia’s largest collection of super-sized LEGO creations.
At Sydney Aquarium families will be able to see huge scale myths and legends of the sea including a giant King Neptune and Moby Dick the whale, made entirely from LEGO. There will also be a built to scale model of the most feared creature of the sea, the Great White Shark.
Next door, Sydney Wildlife World will be transformed into an enormous display of Australian animals, a giant horse and cowboy, early explorers such as Burke and Wills and many other characters from the pages of Australian history. Plus, there will be plenty of Aussie icons such as the famous Boxing Kangaroo, all made from LEGO bricks.
And the fun doesn’t end there. Kids (and their parents) can play for free in the LEGO Playroom at Sydney Wildlife World.
Sydney Aquarium is open daily from 9am to 8pm and Sydney Wildlife World is open daily from 9am to 5pm, given families plenty of time to enjoy one of the biggest LEGO events the country has ever seen.
With school holidays just around the corner now is a great time to start planning a trip to Sydney to see LEGO on the Loose at Sydney Wildlife World and Sydney Aquarium in Darling Harbour, plus all the other fantatstic attractions that Sydney has to offer.
